1188 Lorne Scots - Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps
The Corps formed at Oakville Trafalgar High School in November 1924 but now meets at the Oakville Armoury. If you have any photos or memorabilia from the cadet corps, we’d love to have copies to help them prepare for their 100th-anniversary celebrations.
The Oakville Historical Society is the official sponsor of the 1188 Lorne Scots Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. Learn more about them, including their history.
The sponsorship is our way of celebrating the fine work being done by this organization, the Scottish origin of the Town's founder, and the long history of both the Royal Canadian Army Cadets (almost as old as the Town) and the over 99-year history of the 1188 Lorne Scots RCACC in Oakville (founded 1924). |
The book, A History of the Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) is available for purchase.
Visit the Lorne Scots Regimental Museum, to find out more.
