Those left on our Expired and Waiting List from 2023, will get the first opportunity to buy tickets for 2024
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Ghost Walks 2023 so memorable.
Ghost Walks start and end at our offices, 110 King Street. Adults $15.00,  Children 12 & under $8.00
Updated Wednesday, November 21, 2023,

Enjoy a family-oriented, eerie walk into 1850s Olde Oakville. The Ghost Walk Leader could be the ghost of a mayor, a merchant, a Chisholm relative, a Doctor's wife, a Priest, or someone else. Each ghost shares their life and you while meeting other characters and hearing ghost stories.

New Groups that want to become Ghost Walkers will need to wait until 2024. The demand from groups is much greater than anticipated for 2023.

While in the area, explore Downtown Oakville and see what else Oakville has to offer.

New for 2024

Only 13 Nights this year, compared with 17 Nights during 2023.

A very simple online payment system.

New for 2023

We want all Ghost Walkers (participants) to easily hear what the Ghost Walk Leader is saying. We have two WinBridge S92 Pro Portable PA Systems. A group of 150 people can hear clearly what is said. It is designed for outdoor activities like weddings and walking tours. We will stay focused on up to 15 people for each Ghost Walks tour. To accommodate more Ghost Walkers, some walks may show 30. This is actually two groups of 15.

We have a new ticketing system. After purchase, customers can manage their tickets online. This includes subject to availability and timing, changes to the date/time of a Ghost Walk plus cancellation for a refund. This ends 48 hours before the scheduled walk. Online ticket sales end 2 hours before a Ghost Walk time.

Adults $15.00,  Children (12 and under) $8.00. After the walk, cookies, and cider are served. There is also more discussion and insights into Oakville during the 1850s.

Ticket purchases will be online. Payment by Credit Card, Debit Card (Visa or MasterCard), and PayPal only.

When getting onto our 2023 waitlist, just pick dates of interest. As spots open up on a selected date, a mass email will go out. Ticket purchases are on a first come - first served basis. Sorry we may not be able to accommodate everyone we would like to this year.
Groups may have their own walk time. Group virtual walks are also available, as a screen presentation with one of our Ghost Walk leaders is $75. Some groups ride the Ghost Walk route on the group's own bus for $60.

Walks last for about an hour. Walks require the ability to walk or travel along sidewalks for about 12 blocks. Walking on park grass may also be part of the Ghost Walk.

After the walk, enjoy light refreshments of apple cider and cookies. Also, find out more about the Ghosts of Oakville. There is also a presentation about the Hamilton Radial Electric Railway. Later visit the Halton County Radial Railway Museum.

People remaining on our waitlist and other lists, get priority access to purchasing tickets for the following season. Online sales will open to the public before the end of September.
The start and end of our Ghost Walks will be at our Cottages, 110 King Street, Oakville.

Get to the southwest corner of Navy and King.
Enter the Big White Gate.
Follow the main path around to the right.

Go past the Coach House.
Follow the smaller paths to the cottages.
These are light blue on the map.

After the walk, enjoy cookies and cider. There will also be talk about the walk experience and related discussions.

Questions, Reviews, and Pictures
Rain adds to the eerie atmosphere. If thunder is heard the walk is cancelled.

If not able to attend a Ghost Walk as planned, please consider donating your tickets to the Oakville Historical Society. This may give a chance for others to experience our Ghost Walks.

Walks are conducted in English. Other language groups with their own interpreter, may book as a group of 10 to 15. In comments, provide the name and contact details of the language interpreter. We do have a French Ghost Leader to lead a few French group walks. This must be booked well in advance and mention "French Group Booking". The Advance List form above may be used.

Individuals with mobility, language, or other issues must contact us well in advance. We can then discuss whether the special needs can be accommodated. The Advance List form above may be used.
