There's lots going on throughout the year at the Oakville Historical Society. You can join us for fun, educational activities, learn more about Oakville's history and heritage, and support our fundraising events. Visit our historical offices to view our exhibits and browse our historical libraries, immerse yourself in 19th century life in The Thomas House, or take a walk through historical neighbourhoods with us. There's lots of family fun to be had at the annual Mayor's Historical Picnic and our always popular Ghost Walks. You can browse for treasures and bargains at our annual Yard Sale, or pick up some delicious homemade baking and preserves at our Fall Fair, and create a fun momento with Pioneer Pics - our “old time photo booth”. Enjoy an afternoon indulging yourself at our Spring and Christmas Tea events, spend a fascinating evening listening to the presentations at our Speaker Nights, or immerse yourself in all things Scottish at our annual Burns Supper.
