The Oakville Historical Society preserves and promotes historical heritage of the Town of Oakville.
We are helped with our efforts through membership.
We greatly appreciate the support received from: The Town of Oakville, Ontario Heritage Ontario Development Grants and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Our offices are in The Cottages. These are located on the north side of the Erchless Estate, erected in the mid-1950s. Now equipped with environmental control systems, they provide the historical society with archival storage, a library and display space. Visitors can explore various displays and ask questions about Oakville's history.
