Discover Halton Region's hidden heritage and cultural treasures, some of which are rarely open to the public, during this free event. This is a unique opportunity to visit many historic buildings. Meet and learn from people that lived "the history" and have taken to heart, its preservation.
Explore the heritage and records in locations including the Oakville Historical Society. The Oakville Historical Society has an extensive library and many publications, charts and pictures for sale.

See a listing of the Oakville sites on line. Get more details of all sites within Halton.

Within easy access to Toronto and Niagara Falls, Halton Region’s four historical communities will open their doors and welcome both residents and visitors alike. From the urban centres on Lake Ontario’s shore to the rural splendour of the Niagara Escarpment, there is much to explore. Around Oakville, there are many accommodation and refreshment options available.
