Author Peter Vronsky will be our guest speaker for May. Peter will tell us the story of the Battle of Ridgeway; a small skirmish which had a surprisingly significant effect on Canada's nationhood. Peter is the author of the thoroughly-researched book, Ridgeway: The American Fenian Invasion and the 1866 Battle That Made Canada.
To help MSHS fund our public meetings and provide an honorarium to each of our speakers, a donation is recommended. We'll pass the hat around during the presentation. We hope you'll enjoy this special evening about one of the most pivotal, yet little-known moments in Canadian history.
